Atlanta/Southeast Regional Training

The Atlanta/Southeast Regional Training will be on Saturday, August 20 from 8:45 - 5:00. This is a wonderful opportunity for training! If you were unable to attend convention with us this year, this is a great way to experience just a taste of what that was like. The cost is only $38 if you register before August 6. You can download your application here. They can only accept 125 applications. So, fill it out & send it in with your payment asap! We will try to coordinate carpools from different areas. So, if you are planning to attend, let me know so that details can be arranged. In the past we have left Friday afternoon, since getting to Atlanta on Saturday morning at 8:45 would require us to leave super early. We have just split an inexpensive hotel on Friday night that is near the location of the training. If you are interested in doing this, let me know as well. I hope many of you make plans to attend! This is a GREAT & inexpensive way to learn how to grow your business!

What an exciting week it has been! There is so much buzz from convention, and it has already resulted in 2 new consultants on our team! Write Your Own Story Book

I really can't remember a better "batch" of new titles since I have been a consultant. Of all the new titles introduced at convention, this was the overwhelming favorite. It is phenomenal! It is a "workbook" that takes kids through all the steps of writing a story. It also has several pages that prompt them to write different stories...such as rewriting a familiar story (like Cinderella) from a different character's point of view. Children who enjoy writing (and kids who don't) will LOVE this book! This could be a wonderful tool for teachers to use in the classroom. It would also make a great writing curriculum for home school families. Kids would love to get this for their birthday or Christmas...the list goes on & on! Here is a sneak peak inside the book to the page that helps them develop their main character.


This new title (as well as all the others) were put on our websites yesterday...so they are now available to order! You can also order the new catalogs (July - December 2011) as well as the brand new mini-catalogs. So, the next home party or book fair order you place, be sure to include catalogs in your order. National Convention Highlights

We had such a wonderful convention this year! In my opinion, it was our best one yet! Some highlights include...

Meeting our AMAZING new National Sales Manager, Heather Cobb.

Getting a sneak peak at our wonderful new titles...probably our best group of new titles ever!

Finding out the new incentive trip (Vancouver & Victoria, Canada) with over 400 other consultants.

Seeing one of the newest consultants on our team, Jessica Wood, sitting between Randall White (President of Usborne Books & More) and Peter Usborne (founder of Usborne Books) at lunch on Saturday.

Getting a first hand account of awesome things coming our way...the new mini-catalogs, QR codes on the backs of our catalogs, the new eNewsletter, and our new corporate Facebook page.

Randall's spontaneous decision on Saturday to offer the BIG business kit of 30 books at the small business kit price of $69 until July 31...and give consultants who sign up during this time a 14-week incentive period!

Jessica made the goal to come back to convention next year as a Supervisor!

Realizing that Tara & Julianne made the goal 1 year ago at convention to promote to Supervisor...and did it!!!

And...our team brought home 7 national awards!

But, the best part was getting to spend 4 days with these amazing teammates & friends! We hope more of you can join us next year!!!

More exciting news from convention...

What an exciting day it has been! We have never had a convention with so much exciting news! The home office has SO MANY new and exciting tools that they are making available to us that will greatly enhance our businesses. Many of these are in large part due to our new National Sales Manager, Heather Cobb. We have all been so impressed & inspired by her the past 2 days! We have complete confidence in the changes that she in implementing and the direction she is taking our sales force. So...here are some more fun announcements that we are so excited to share with you!

Mini-catalogs - Along with our regular catalogs, we will now have mini-catalogs that will be available to us for only $.40 each to hand out at booths, etc.! So, we don't have to make people sign in blood that they are going to place an order in order for us to give them a catalog anymore. :)

First eBook - Our first eBook, Bloomswell Diaries, will be available on our websites and on Amazon on Monday! But, don't worry...it will be offered at a lower price on our websites than on Amazon.

Read All About It eNewsletters - Be looking for an email in the next couple of days to create a login for our brand, new AMAZING eNewsletters! The home office will be using an outside company to manage these eNewsletters. The capabilities are INCREDIBLE...links to Facebook and Twitter, the ability to personalize the newsletter each month & add a picture of yourself, the ability to know what your customers clicked on in the eNewsletter...and much more! The first month of this service will be free...after that a year subscription will be $50.

A 13th Conspiracy 365 book - Gabrielle Lord is in the editing stage of the follow-up book to the Conspiracy series, Revenge. Hopefully, it will be out soon and will give us a great reason to contact our schools, libraries, and customers to let them know about this new book!

Cards for a Cause - We have an awesome new fundraising option available for organizations. The organization can sale our 2 sets of gift cards (30-card sets for $30 each) and they receive 43% in cash!!!!

News from National Convention...

Julianne, Tara, LeAnne, Jessica & I arrived in Tulsa yesterday for convention! Convention officially kicked off today for the Supervisors and we already have some exciting news...the Power of 3 is now permanent!!! That means that from this point forward consultants will only need 3 Bronze & 3 active recruits to promote to Supervisor!!! Promoting to Supervisor is the BEST way to grow your business, so this is exciting news for all consultants!

We also got $100 in new titles for coming to convention...and a sneak peak at ALL the new titles that will be available as of July 1. Here are a few of our favorites...
