Weekly Highlights

It has been an exciting week for new consultants on our team! The One-Step-at-a-Time Rewards that the home office offers are such wonderful goals to strive for during our incentive periods. Our new consultants are doing GREAT at reaching these levels! Remember that after your incentive period ends, Home Office Challenges can be great monthly goals work towards as well.

Here are some highlights from this week...
  • Brittany Brewton (Florence, AL) reached Bronze in the One-Step-at-a-Time Rewards!
  • Jessica Wood (Leighton, AL) reached Emerald...the highest level in the One-Step-at-a-Time Rewards!
  • Robin Flournoy (Knoxville, TN) reached Bronze at her FIRST event during her FIRST week as a consultant!
What an exciting week and a GREAT way to start off the summer!!!

Weekly Highlights

I hope you have all had a great week! The school year is coming to an end, which is hard to believe. For us educational consultants, this means that a good bit of our business is basically closed for the next 2 months. However, the summer is a great time to refocus on home parties & work on filling your fall calendars. Home parties can be great in the summer...moms will be excited to get new books for their kids to read while they are out of school. Play date parties can be a great idea...do the party in the morning & all the moms can bring their kids. Obviously, these parties don't "look" the same as night parties with no kids, but they can still result in big sales.

Here are some highlights from this week...
  • Somehow in the craziness of the past month, I neglected to congratulate Tricia Brooks (Tallasee, AL) for making BRONZE & SILVER in the month of April!!! Congratulations, Tricia!
  • The newest consultant on our team, Robin Flournoy (Knoxville, TN), already had 3 big events on her calendar (not even including her kick-off party)...before her kit even arrived at her door!
  • Jessica Wood (Leighton, AL) had a fun experience this past week that was featured in the Consultant Diaries portion of the Weekly Update from the home office on Tuesday! In case you missed it...
Today I sold not one but TWO entire sets of C365!!! I was doing a museum book fair that was actually geared toward toddlers and Pre-K. An older sibling asked what we had for his age and I pitched C365. His eyes got HUGE and he said, "I need to tell my mom!" Mom and I talked and she decided they would get the first two and then order the rest if he really liked them. He decided this was not good enough and went to get 'Poppa' (grandfather). Poppa bought the entire set AND had another set sent to another grandchild in another state. Wow. Just wow.

Weekly Highlights

Please forgive me for my lapse in posting team highlights. In the past 4 weeks, I have had 3 elementary book fairs and spent a week in England & Scotland! I'm exhausted and my house is a mess...but business is good!!!! :) Ryan & I had a WONDERFUL time on the Usborne trip! Randall really treats us right on these trips...amazing hotels, London passes that paid for ALL of our trips on the Underground & most ALL of the attractions we went to, 1st class train travel to Scotland...it was incredible from beginning to end! Not to mention being in London the week of the Royal Wedding!!! Earning these amazing trips needs to be a goal of every Usborne consultant!

Here are some highlights from the past couple of weeks...
  • Tara Maple (Opelika, AL) made the President's Club!!! This is such an honor! She will be heading to convention a day early to meet with Randall & the other President's Club members to make decisions for the company! Congratulations, Tara!
  • Julianne Carney (Collierville, TN) had her first elementary book fair AND had a new consultant join her team! Welcome Robin Flournoy (Knoxville, TN)!
  • Tricia Brooks (Tallassee, AL) had a new consultant join her team! Welcome Laura Ashford (Pace, FL)!
  • My sons' school decided to donate the free books from their book fair last week to Holt Elementary School...one of the 3 schools in Tuscaloosa that was destroyed by the tornado 2 weeks ago. The students at Bluff Park raised over $2300 in brand new, library-bound books for the kids at Holt!
  • Usborne National Convention is just 1 month away! If you are still considering going to convention, it's not too late! We would love to have you join us!!! It is incredible and more than worth the time & expense of going!!!
