Just a reminder about National Booking Day. Here are the details:
On Monday August 16th
1. Join Hundreds of Usborne Books & More Consultants in booking 5 events each.
2. Get out your calendar and a pen. Highlight August 17th through September 14th. These are the dates during which to schedule your new events.
3. Get your dialing finger warmed up.
4. Call and Book 5 NEW EVENTS that will be held during the next 4 weeks.
Everyone Who Books 5 NEW EVENTS scheduled through September 14th will RECEIVE: A $25 Usborne Books & More Gift Certificate (added to your OrderPro Online). In addition, your name will be added to a drawing to win one of 5 brand new Usborne Illustrated Stories of Christmas $19.99 (Just arrived at the warehouse yesterday.)

(This is Tara.) O.K., here is what I have so far: 1 home show, 1 booth at a Girls' Night Out shopping event, 1 table at our area's semi-annual kids' consignment sale (can display for 2 weeks!), and 4 appointments to meet with daycare/preschool directors about book fairs (2 of whom sound really excited). These "booking days" are really promting me to make calls!

Well...my day did not have quite the same AMAZING results as you 2, but I did get 1 school library apt. and 3 book fairs scheduled (dates are still tentative though...waiting for call backs). I, seriously, called over 20 schools & libraries...got to talk to a few and will not give up until I have made contact with them all! :)
