More for Less Kit Special Extended!!!

I am so excited about the growth of our team this month! It has been amazing that so many consultants have been able to start their business with such a GREAT kit for only $69! You can download the application here. We just found out that Heather Cobb, our National Sales Manager, will be at the training! I can't say enough about how wonderful Heather is. She has been with Usborne since January and has already implemented so many great things. Getting the opportunity to hear her will more than be worth the time and expense of going to Atlanta! Our wonderful upline Supervisor, Nancy Ann Wartman, will also be there! Many of you "know" her from the Monday night training chats...this is your chance to meet her in person! :) If you are going, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can arrange car pools and hotel rooms for those going on Friday afternoon.

August Hostess Special!!!

Have you read about the August Hostess Special yet? SO EXCITING!!! Any August home party hostesses that have at least $500 in sales will be entered into a drawing to win a new iPad 2! And, if one of your hostesses is drawn, you win one too! This is really motivating me to have a full home party calendar in August. :) Also, if they have at least $400 in sales, they get an extra $50 in free books!

New consultants...you get to offer double free books with minimum sales of $250 for the duration of your incentive period. So, the extra $50 in free books does not apply to your hostesses (because they are getting the BEST hostess special the company offers). But, your hostesses who have $500 in sales WILL be entered in the iPad drawing! :)

Weekly Highlights

The summer just keeps getting more exciting for our team! We have so many brand new team members that are getting their businesses off to a GREAT start! A great way to keep up the momentum is to attend the ATLANTA REGIONAL TRAINING on Saturday, August 20! This will be a whole day of great training, encouragement, & motivation...just a small taste of what we experienced at convention in June. Several of our team members are planning to attend...it is a decision you will not regret! You can download the application here. Remember, if you send in your application & payment by August 6, you can get the early bird special rate of $38! If you are planning to attend, please let me know asap so that carpools & possible hotel rooms can be arranged.

Ruth sent out her monthly team newsletter today. Six of our team members were listed in her $1,000+ sales list for June...Shannon Windsor (who had over $2000!), Kelly Akers, Brittany Brewton, Tara Maple, LeAnne Haynes, & Jessica Wood!!! We were representing well! :)

• Alison Smith (Claxton, GA) & Sarah Walaschek "met" on the Monday night training chat, "How to Earn Canada", and decided to work toward the trip & became official "Canada Buddies!"
  

• Before her starter kit even arrived, Jennifer Thorne (Westover, AL) booked 3 home parties and a preschool book fair!
  

WOW!!!! All of these consultants are brand new and are still in their incentive periods! Way to hit the ground running, ladies!!!! :)

Penny folders & reams of paper!

Be sure to watch the Staples, Office Depot, & Office Max weekly ads the next 2 months for back to school sales! There will be several opportunities to get folders to use for recruiting folders & hostess folders for only a penny each...you can do this at Office Max this week! You can also get a ream of paper for just a penny after the rebate this week at Office Max. Be sure you have the rewards cards for these stores if you need them to get the great deal. I try to buy enough penny folders during these back to school sales to last me the entire year. Just wanted to make sure you knew about these great deals! :)

What an exciting week! Speaking of things that get us excited...have you seen the Home Office Challenges for July!?! If you reach Home Office Challenge 3 (Sell $2500 net & have 1 July recruit), you get 1,500 Total Travel Points to Canada!!!! WOW!!!! And, if you have 3 recruits in July you get 1,000 more Total Travel Points!!! Anyone can earn this trip...they are giving us points right & left! :) I like to print the Home Office Challenges each month & hang them above my desk so that I see them everyday & remember what I am working towards. They are in the Biz Book each month. To access the Biz Book, look under Links on your consultant site, Downloads, Monthly Magazines & Flyers.

Also, if you have not yet done so, download & print the Canada Trip Flyer. Again, I like to hang the trip flyers above my desk so that I am constantly reminded of the goals I am working towards. On the last page of the trip flyer, there is a little coupon you can clip & send in by July 31 to receive 300 Bonus Points towards the trip! It doesn't get much easier than that! Once again, anyone can earn this trip...you just have to set the goal & work towards it. If this is something you desire to do, I would love to help you!

It has been another exciting week! There is so much momentum right now & so much to be excited about in Usborne! I am so excited about our new trip earning period that started yesterday...ALL of you could earn this trip to Vancouver & Victoria, Canada! If this is a goal that you want to make for yourself, the company has set up a "Canada Partner" program where you can partner with another consultant who is working to earn the trip. You can help each other, encourage each other, & set goals together! If you desire to earn the trip to Canada and do not have a Canada partner, email me & let me know. I can pair you up with another consultant on our team. You just have to email the home office at mycanadapartner@edcpub.com by Wednesday July 6th to let them know who your buddy is. Be sure to include both of your consultant ID numbers.
